Frown lines, forehead lines and "crow's feet" are the most commonly reported concerns.  As these lines develop due to underlying muscle movements, they are called "active lines".  Other types of lines, such as sleep lines, are called "passive lines", as they are not wholly due to the underlying muscle movements.

There are a number of ways to treat these signs of ageing.  The most commonly known method is by "wrinkle relaxing injections" where Botulinum Toxin is injected into the muscles of the face to minimise their movement and hence diminish and prevent lines from forming. Similar to a crease developing on a piece of paper from folding it.

Lip enhancement is done by injecting fillers to increase the volume of the lips.  Lip filler administration should be done to enhance the natural shape of the lip by injecting not just a bulk of filler, but by shaping the borders, adding general volume, addressing cupid's bow and also the volume of the surrounding areas.  By carefully placing the correct amount of filler in the desired locations, natural looking beautiful lips can be achieved.  Haphazard filler injection into the lips are unfortunately very common and attach a stigma to a procedure which can transform ones appearance.

Melasma is a common condition resulting in brown or grey patches on the skin due to abnormalities concerning melanocytes and melanin. It usually occurs on the cheeks, bridge of the nose, forehead, chin or upper lip.  Melasma is often referred to as the "pregnancy mask" due to its association with pregnancy and the associate hormonal changes.  

Sun damage can also lead to areas of hyperpigmentation and effective sun protection is pivotal with the management of hyperpigmentation.   Hyperpigmentation can be treated with various products, such as hydroquinone and tretinoin creams to alleviate the presentation.

Loose and sagging skin are tell-tale signs of the ageing process due to the skin's loss of elastisity and firmness.   Effective skin care and procedures such as chemical peels can dramatically improve the appearance of loose and sagging skin.  Thread face-lift procedures can both lift and tighten skin to leave a much firmer and youthful appearance.  Mesotherapy and micro needling are also effective to address loose and sagging skin.

Acne is something that most people have suffered with.  Not only is it prevalent during puberty, but can occur later in life as well.  Acne is the result of access sebum production in the skin and can lead to permanent scarring if not addressed effectively.
